What is Race to Harmony:

 

Race to Harmony is the core program of The Nubian Cultural Center, offering programs of direct cultural exchange with an in depth examination of various ethnic/racial groups who comprise the "salad bowl" that is America. Each month The Center will highlight a specific issue facing the community, e.g. voting rights, public school curricula, CRT, etc.  We will hold in person and Zoom seminars, think tanks and roudtables to develop potential solutions to these issues.

Unity Missionary Investors addresses the physical health and wellness of the community by offering in erson/Zoom monthly seminars especially on brain health and obesity periodically coupled with free clinics to extol the physical health of the community.

The collaborative missions of The Nubian Center and Unity Missionary Investors is to promote a wholeness of racial and ethnic harmony through education and cultural exchange - "put to bed" lip service ohealth for the entire community, activating our commonality in a new language of collaboarative activities that uphold the unique qualities, physicality and talents of every individual.

The collaboration of both The Nubian Center & Unity empowers community communities through educational activities and programs that address critical issues that impede the growth of community growth, e.g. healthcare, education, racism, misogyny, lifestyles, economics and more.  Ready to listen, learn and act, these organizations always offer a "hand up", not a "hand out" to provide healthy sustainability in their efforts to stimulate and reinforce critical values for growth, harmony and unity.
